I have used my Simple Drive on a Mac for the last year. I now have a PC laptop and would like to put the music files from the Simple Drive onto the laptop. When I plug the drive into the laptop it recognizes the drive, but I can't access the files. Am I out of luck here or is there something I can do?

Hi! First of all try connecting it to a different port. If no luck and still cant access the files try to purchase a file recovery software. Its a software that can recover even deleted files. This will be your only and the best option. Hope this helps and have a good one!
Are you sure I need the recovery software? The files are still there, but the PC won't allow me to access the hard drive itself. It seems it can only work on a Mac right now. I know there are ways I can format it to work with both, but I need to get the files off before I do. I don't currently have access to the Mac they were originally transferred from.
