I have Vanguard NZ105 infared ventless heater with a Desta remote control thermostat. After two weeks use the thermostat has stopped working. I've checked batteries...reset the codes & checked the connections without luck. Help!

Same thing happened with mine,it turned out to be the solenoid that the remote controls, I fixed this by dismantling the fire and right next to the control knob that u turn to go from off/pilot/on its there u remove it using a 7mm wrench remove C-clip and pull apart clean rebuild and reinstall i found the unit was bad and the piston did not have enough travel and ended up removing remote control unit and have it manual mode
