If you know the name of the program, and where it may possibly be eg C:/program files. search that location for the folder. failing that click on start, then on search. select all files and folders, then type in the name or part of name of the program you are looking for. the system will start a search, which may take some time. when it finds files and folders with the name or part name, they will come up in a seperate window, when you see what you want, right click on it and select 'open containing folder' when that folder opens and you see the icon you are looking for right click on it and select 'send to desktop - create shortcut. thats it good luck
