I haven't used my SmartScan 2700 since getting a new computer two years ago. I've followed the instructions to load the progam from the CD, then I followed the instructions to open Photoshop Elements and select import from CyberView. From there I get one of three error messages. "There does not seem to be a scanner installed." "USB for Windows is not installed" -- this is the same USB I use for other applications. "Error code OBH,045H,00H" Please help. Thanks, Judith Fryer
Hi there, What operating system are you running before and what operating system are you running now? I mean are you running windows Xp before and are you running windows 7 now or are you still using Xp? Because it could be the compatibility of your device to the said operating system causing it not to be recognized. If you can try installing it on another computer and check if the same thing will happen then that would mean that you have a hardware problem. Hope this helps!
