I heard a a squeaky sound before pressing the clutch fully and heard a pop sound in the end of the clutch then a tiny metal piece came out on my 1987 nissan pulsar
Pull the master cylinder and repair or replace. It may be a bit of clutch return spring or circlip from the rear of the master cylinder but squeaks indicate that the piston rubbers are going and the unit needs attention.
