Report "I inherited a 1960's(?) Mayline Desk-o-matic ii- but it was given to me with the board taken off for transport- I want to reinstall it- however, it's really heavy the only place to bolt it is approx 6 inches- which doesn't seem like it would be particularly safe- my question- is there a chance it originally came with longer attaching bars that simply bolted into the 6 inch metal brackets with 4 holes that is attached to the control bar that attaches to the frame? If so, can I fabricate? any advise on how to go about it the home depot route?"
