I installed a lot of drivers for a syntax sv400 on board audio...but my sound card still not detected by "DXDIAG".The driver on the cd provided from manufacturer don't work.Should I buy a extern sound card?
not sure if this will help, sadly there's hardly any support for Syntax motherboards... "http://download.driverguide.com/driver/SV400,+SV400A/Syntax/d350132.html" (minus quotes)

Is it an internal pci sound card that you have, or are you trying to use the on-board audio only?
