I installed the 1.6 gal Maxima EL.\r\n I placed the "bowl"(seat)over the "seal", bolted it down.. went to place the "tank" to the "bowl" and .....it would not fit because I had placed the "bowl" too close to the wall. So, I moved the bowl to acommidate the tank. It seemed OK at first but now leaks at the base. Do I need to relace with two wax seals? How do I know how far from the wall to place the bowl(seat)? Any suggestion on proper installation? Thanks, Hachig Kazarian

Step 1, place sustern on boul. tight it up and muve the sustern attached to the boul flush with the wall.
step 2, mark out were ur toilet will stand with a pensel, then remove pot and apply silicone to pot base [Remove sistern first lol] and to the floor were the pensil mark is
Step 3, ones ur pot is on the floor put ur sistern on. i think the leak you were refiring to is the spunge rubber in the middel of ur sistern, make sure that it is furmly over the thred on the out side of sistern were flush meganisem comes out and tight it all well down. check ur pot with a level and if it is let it dry over night and then u can use it
