I installed the drive in my new computer from my old computder. It worked in my old computer. I ran XP in my old computer and XP PRO in my new computer. When playing a CD the drive just a few seconds on eack track. I think it's not the right driver for it isn't it?

I recommend going to manufacture's website and download the latest driver for it. That should fix the problem.
You can also go to "my computer", then go to "performance & maintenance", then go to "system", then go to "device manager" Once you are in device manager, expand the list for your cd drive, Make sure it is enabled and see if you can update the driver from here. Also if you are using media player, I recommend media player 11 or media player classic. YOu can download codecs. Free K-Lite Codec pack and also Free XP codec pack. You will need codec for the drive to play certian files.
