I just got 4 new tires and new tie rods on my 2002 C240 Mercedes. Now, the ESP light is on and the front passenger side seems to shake when speeds get up to around 40. What could this be?
I replaced the tie rods because our mechanic said this is what was causing the shaking. It seems to have made it worse.

Get the tires balanced if you have just had these replaced its more likely there out of balance have you seen track rod ends as they do go but unless they have a lot of play in them they where probably ok most mechanics do jobs that don't need doing in the first place did you ask for the old parts as a rule i always give the old parts to people i do jobs for and show them the problem for this exact reason i dont trust any garages i do all jobs my self unless its not cost effective for me tool hire or buying tools ect good luck
