I just got a Sony FD trinitron WEGA KV-36FV27 36" TV from somebody and they said they got it in 2001, well the picture seems dark. I can still still see everything on it it is just way darker than my older tvs. What is wrong can it be fixed?

Go in the menu,video,then set the brightness - for less or + for more that should do it,hope this helps you some.
