I just got the skullcandy chrome pipe ipod dock today. I was playing it while skating, and after about an hour of playing it started skipping. I switched ipods and it was still skipping. The ipod was docked properly. I am using cheep offbrand batteries, I was thinking this could be part of the issue

If you have any issue with anything Skullcandy its guaranteed for life. go to there website fill out the claim under the support section and they will send you a new one. quick and easy and doesn't cost you a thing.
