I just rebuilt my poulan will not start now. Getting fuel and spark I can't seem to find a head gasket So i used silicone which looked to be what was used before. New head new piston & ring new carb

If you have fuel & spark there is only one thing missing and that's compression. Probably because you have no head gasket. Try to check the compression to see if it's good.
I will be checking compression Monday but their was no head gasket. Theirs just a groove where it looks like silicone was placed for the seal and you couldn't use a complete head gasket. Ecausenim the crankshaft end bearings are at each end of the saw
