I just removed a quilt from my washer and noted water all over the floor. I checked on my water connections and they are nice and tight and dry. Any ideas? It’s a Kenmore quietpak9
Because quilts, towels, etc. hold a lot of water, they will only release that water during the spin cycle. If the spin rate is too high, the machine will sling water over the top of the tub thence down and onto the floor. To prevent this, reduce the spin rate from high to low. If you find they are still too wet, run a second spin, only, cycle on a higher setting.

Unbalanced load? Too much soap? Too heavy and caused it to go off balance
