IN THIS WAY YOU CAN RECOVEER LOT OF SPACE. THANKS
Yes that means that it has 14% space left. Your only option is to delete/back up files off of it to a different media. If you go to my computer and right click the drive and select properties it will tell you exactly how full the drive is. If you need any further assistance please let me know. If you find this information helpful please take the time to accept/rate my solution accordingly and I can continue assisting you as well if you need it. Thank you, Lee

Base from the description of your problem YES it is already running out of hard drive space so what you can do here is to remove some files that you don't need from this hard drive to free some hard drive space.
If its save to your maxtor it will only be deleted from it not from your MAC, just remove those things that you don;t really use or need.If its save to your maxtor it will only be deleted from it not from your MAC, just remove those things that you don;t really use or need.
