I locked my ford fusion, went into work, and when I came out, my remote wouldnt work and the anti theft light was blinking rapidly on the dash, then when I put the key in to start, no go. I put a new battery in my remote, now it opens the doors, lights come on, but the car still wont start. I'm pretty sure its not my battery, all the system lights come on. The only thing that is different is the security light that blinks rapidly
This is ONLY a suggestion. Take your positive battery cable off for at least ONE MINUTE. Then put it back on. Other than that I wouldn't know. The car has a computer. Sometimes resetting them gets rid of small quirks. If the car didn't turn over at all you might need a new car battery. But try the battery cable thing first. Its the least expensive.
