The BIOS is "software" stored on an EPROM (Eraseable Programmable Read-Only Memory). That EPROM can be (carefully!) removed from your motherboard.
With the correct hardware, namely an EPROM updater, you can download the BIOS software from the eMachines web-site, and "program" the software onto the EPROM chip.
Try opening it and taking out the little coin battery from the moatherboard for about 20 sec or more..put it back in and see if this works first....if it doesnt im not sure you can ...but let me know if this helps!!!
