The voltage in Israel is 220 volts. Check the information plate on your iron to see if it will operate on 220 volts. If it will, then you will only need an adapter from the two round pins to a two slot receptacle that you can plug your iron into. If your iron will not use 220 volts then you will need a 220/120 volt transformer with a 1 and one half times larger wattage rating on it than watt rating on your iron. Our iron is 1200 watts. We would need a 2000 watt transformer. On Amazon they cost eighty nine dollars and weigh 29 pounds. And they ship them overseas. Best of Luck
You might check where you will be staying to see if they have transformers available, or if they have 120 volts available. You might check where you will be staying to see if they have transformers available, or if they have 120 volts available.
