I need a formula based on the value of two cells
In excel I have a document that has three sheets. In sheet3 if cell H2="Clark College" AND I2 is blank I want an "X" in a specific cell on sheet one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You were of to a good start. Try using the AND function in the IF Formula as follows:
=IF(AND(Sheet3!H2="Clark College",ISBLANK(Sheet3!I2)),"X"," ")
