First, press the mode button (the one in the middle) until either the alarm set screen or the time screen shows. Second, while in the alarm set or time screen, simultaneously press the split/reset select button and the start/stop set button (the two outer buttons). The alarm symbol should go away (this is normally in the upper right corner of the screen).
Phyllis, I read your post about the Sportline stopwatch. I have one - the " Go Walking" stop watch #2832. I have the directions here somewhere - intent on finding them eventually but thought I'd check on line - seemed easier... The alarm on our goes off 3 times within an hour EVERY night. My son has pitched it out of his room and here it sits in the kitchen now. I don't have an answer for this but one way or another will find one - did you get an answer yet? I half - suspect that if we take the battery out for 5 minutes - it MAY reset - without the alarm...may try that shortly but won't know if it worked until tomorrow eve about this same time as it just went off for the first of three times about 5 minutes ago - which is what prompted to me search for an answer. Let me know how it goes for you - it is MADDENING, Lisa
Found this site - Bodytronics.com when I searched the Sportline Stopwatch. Followed the info within the site Help Center - came up with this manuel for Sportline products - which again was listed under Bodytronics - which I would suspect is rather generic in nature.
Oddly enough it says press the 1 and 2 simultaneously - which I accidently did the last time mine went off here a bit ago and it hasn't gone off the two other times it should have by now. Must have worked - AMEN!
I have one of those stopwatches "2006 model" you have to hold down the 1 (left) and 2 (middle) button simultaneously then press the 3 (right) button while still holding down the one and two button. You should see the alarm sign in the upper right go off.
