I need assistance with a repair for my Vizio LCD TV
Hi, my TV had a single green vertical bar running down the middle of it. After doing some research online I was led to a Youtube video about checking the ribbon connectors running to the T Con board. I went ahead and gave it a shot - took the back off of the TV and got access to the T Con board. I then unclipped the connectors and removed the ribbons. I was watching the screen from underneath the table that I had it face down on and noticed the green bar disappeared but some other thicker bars had appeared. I tried seating the cable a few more times until I noticed the small portion of the bottom of the TV hanging over the table was all black. Thinking it was fixed I screwed everything back together and stood it up only to power it on and can not see a picture. The backlight goes on but I no longer see the Vizio logo on startup nor the input box in the top of the screen when switching inputs from the side of the TV. Any idea on what happened and how I can fix? I had perfect picture before attempting to repair the green vertical line.
