I have  a US-122 Tascam. I have installed the driver from the accompanying disc to my new MacBook Pro, but the device seemed to remained  unrecognized, as though no usb-device was ever connected to the computer. I thought that this happens  because the device uses  a Usb 1.0 cable and/or maybe i should download more recent drivers for my old US-122. After a long search i found the address from a forum of Fixya and i downloaded the driver, only to found out that what came down (sic!) was a very large text of weird symbols. I don't know what to do with it. how can i install a text? As you already understood i am a very poorly experienced technology user. please help
