Hi, it could be a defective Tuner. Try hooking up the cable box or the satellite box using the video 1,2 or 3 jacks in the back of the tv, if you don't get the problem anymore, then the tuner needs to be replaced. I am having trouble locating a parts list for the model you are providing, there might be one number to many, but if you can get the correct model number I have found the partstore.com helpful, they can provide part number and price for your tuner. Thanks!
you use the yellow/white/red/ jacks in the back of the cable box to the yellow/red/white INPUT jacks in the rear of the tv, note which input you are going to use(ex: video 1) then select the input video 1 with the remote on the TV, you should get your cable signal normal, you can use it like that for a good while, it won't hurt it or you can just leave hooked up like that and do away with the tuner replacement.you use the yellow/white/red/ jacks in the back of the cable box to the yellow/red/white INPUT jacks in the rear of the tv, note which input you are going to use(ex: video 1) then select the input video 1 with the remote on the TV, you should get your cable signal normal, you can use it like that for a good while, it won't hurt it or you can just leave hooked up like that and do away with the tuner replacement.
