You can remove #1 spark plug and let someone bump it over with your finger in the plug hole,when you feel it blow your finger out the hole it's close,stick a screwdriver in the plug hole and turn the belts or crank pulley until the screwdriver is at its highest point .thats true top dead center on compression stroke.
