I need to change the speed of the upload to itunes. Iit is taking forever and the speed it shows is .01X How do I change it so that one song does not take 30 minutes

It appears that when Itunes went to 9-there must a have been a glitch for Vista(whoa- no surprise there). I went to ION and reuploaded the most recent software and I was able to upload an album is a few minutes.
