Before you buy a new one try this turn off the power!! remove the fan controller and open it you will see a big resistor (gray) resolder it - either on side is loose or it is completly off resistor location is r7 Thanks nipper00
Thanks for the tip, Nipper00. This worked great for me. Mine had a large green resistor that was loose and completely disconnected from the board on one side, and it was located partially underneath a metal plate and kind of hard to get to. I had to bend the side of the metal plate up to get enough access to solder it back onto the board. I then put the receiver box back together, wired it all back up, and tested it.
