The default SSID is Netgear but if you have changed this to something else then you will need to access the setup page of the router. Open a web browser to a computer that has access to the router. In the address bar, type www.routerlogin.net. By default, the username is admin, and the password is password. Once in the Netgear page, under Setup, go to Wireless settings. You will be able to get your SSID and security settings from that page. I hope this helps!
