I need to get the back off my new ice watch to replace battery but I can't? Anyone know how please?
The back has 6 small grooves but I still can't open the back... Help plz?

Waterproof or water resistant watches usually need a wrench to unscrew the back. I use a pair of 90 degree circlip pliers. A jeweller would remove the strap and fit the watch into a holder before using the wrench.
Few jewellers would guarantee the water resistance of a watch after fitting a new battery. If it is required a watch be returned to its original specification it must be returned to the manufacturer or an agent for battery fitting and pressure testing.
Some watches have a back that is pressed into place. Fairly easy to prise off but very difficult to replace without the tools. This type does not have the grooves a wrench fits into.
Mine has 6 small grooves around the edge, I have tried to prise the back up but to no avail. Can u give me instructions like step by step plz? Also, will a nail file or scissors pop the back off as I have limited tools
The 6 small grooves are an indication your watch is waterproof or water resistant. The grooves are where the special wrench fits in order to unscrew the back. Sometimes considerable force is needed; hence the holder and the wrench. Under the back, once it has been unscrewed there is a rubber O ring seal.
The back doesn't pop off and if you try that too hard you are going to need new scissors and nail file and probably also have a hole in your hand. Full marks for trying Linda but the manufacturer has you beat this time.
