If your going to replace or upgrade your motherboard, consider this following things:
1. Central Processing Unit(CPU) - Make sure that it can be use to the new motherboard or the motherboard supports your old cpu. If it is an Intel processor, get a motherboard that supports Intel processor or if AMD then get a motherboard that support AMD processors.
2. Memory Card - Make sure that it can also be usable to the new motherboard. If it is DDR then get a motherboard that supports DDR Memory Module or if it is DDR II then get a motheboard that supports it.
3. Video Card(if you have it aside from the onboard video device) - Make sure if you have a AGP Video card or PCI E video card it can be usable to the new motherboard.
Get a new motherboard that support all the stated hardware above.
Hope this could be valuable information for you..:-) Thanks..
