I need to replace my transmission cooler lines on my 1995 GMC Jimmy is there just the bolts that hold them to the transmission and radiator or do I have to lift up on the motor or is there clamps ?
Theres a small pinhole leak ,I am just wondering if I can slap JB weld on the leak until summer ?? Also how much transmission fluid can possibly leak out ,ALL of it or just from the tranny ?

Repair the minimal section of trans oil line. Simple 6 inches of high pressure hose and two worm clamps
All of the transmission fluid can leak out. The cooling lines are there to cool the tranny fluid, and it is circulated through the radiator by means of a pump. If a line is leaking, the pump will just empty the fluid out through the leak. The lines are usually just held in place by clamps to keep them from chafing through against the body or chassis, so replacing them should be quite an easy job. Just undo the bolts that hold them to the box and the radiator, undo however many clamps hold them in place, and reverse the procedure with new pipes.
