I need to use a 220 volt battery charger on a 110 volt circuit. Can a converting device be wired to change 110 volt (single phase) to the ''2-phase'' 220 volts? My main charger is at home, wired into an electric dryer outlet. I need to be able to use my spare DS-50 electric vehicle battery charger at a worksite with only 110 volts. A similar question would then be: could I wire a device to connect a 220 volt clothes dryer on a 110 volt circuit?
You know you asked a question I gave an answer. It was not about dryers. You giving me a low rating is pure dee mean. I am hurt. You youth sure beat up on us old timers. Thanks.

Let me ask you this, where is the receptacle for 120 volts you were going to use? Can't you get someone to run a dedicated 240 v line for your pet project?

Why not just get a meter pole with a 220 outlet installed near your parking space?
