I neglected to run my Ariens 5524 snowbower dry last spring
I neglected to run my Ariens 5524 dry last spring. I changed the oil and put in new gas, but it won't start. There is probably gummed fuel somewhere. Is that something I can fix myself by spraying Gum Out?

No, just spraying gumout in the carb will not likely help. You will need to remove the carb, disassemble it and clean it. I suggest replacing the needle, bowl gasket and bowl nut gasket. Be sure you have cleared all passages in the carb.
