I ordered two used sm58's and 2 used sm57's ... one of the sm57's works perfectly but all were said to work perfectly. Is there any way that something could have messed them up in the shipping process? I've plugged them all in my 60 watt fender bass amp and they just buzz

It's highly unlikely that something failed in shipping. Those mics are built like tanks. They were probably messed up before you bought them or are counterfeits.
