I own a Duracraft commercial grade high velocity fan, model DV-518. When I turned it on, the blades started to turn. Then there was a loud click and a small smell. I quickly turned the switch off. When I turned the switch on again, in any speed, the fan no longer worked. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi, I had the same pop noise and turned off immediately. So my question is, where is the capacitor, in the switch assembly or inside the motor?
