I own a phaser-8550 and the problem is that the printer seems to wake up when it is in sleep mode. If I turn it off and back on the next day, jobs print OK until it goes to sleep and it forgets to wake up. Are you familiar with this problem. I have very low mileage on this printer would like to keep it. Thank you

There are two stages to the sleep mode, One is a low power condition. That is the real sleep mode. There is also a time that will shut the machine off. You can go into the machine setups and shut that timer off.
