I posted that my lexar 4gb twist only shows on my computer as a disk. I cannot format it or do anything with it. When I try to open it I get this: Please insert disk" .I want to use this as storage. Anybody help me please? I've tried everything--I was told it was formatted at the factory. Why was it formatted where it tells me to insert a disk? I tried every port on my system a Lenovo Desktop Windows 7 64 bit SP1

You cannot use it as drive A: because A: and B: are reserved for floppu and zip drives. You will need to assign it any drive letter above the last drive letter in your pc. When working normal, the drive is automatically assigned the next letter available after the last drive letter. You may want to try formatting it again so it will be fresh and ready for use with your pc. Be sure to format it fat32 file system, (not ntfs).
