I pulled the radio out of my 1998 Ford Ranger to get to the climate control panel to replace the burned out bulbs. When I put the radio back in, it played but none of the control knobs worked. My neighbor thought if I pulled the negative battery cable, it would reset. I did, and now it won't work at all. Some sites said I need a radio code, but I think the radio is to old for that. The serial numbers they are talking about don't match up. It is a F87F-19B132-AB radio. Do I need to do something to reset it, or is there another problem?
