I purchased a house with a GE Spectra free standing electric range oven and a refrigerator. Where can I get instructions to clean both appliances? Thank you Lynn

Hello- First, instructions are basic. For oven: AVOID the so-called 'self-clean' function. Techs call it 'self-destruct'. Ovens are made to cook food, not bake pottery. Avoid or try to predict boilovers and spills. Use drip pans and foil. Light scrape, light soapy water. Turn on to 450deg for 30 min. Less time, less energy, less smell, longer lifespan for control circuits. Next, the fridge: Dust and all forms of fuzzy stuff on the cooling coils underneath and behind the fridge causes most problems. Getting it out involves pulling panel below door and finding a vacuum nozzle that will fit in most of the way to the back. Pulling out is not always easy, but allows for full cleaning access. -Don't scratch floor.- Let me know if this info helps- have more if needed. -Thanks- ED
