I'm pretty sure that RCM module is defective and shorted out THATS THE 12 BUT I THINK YOUR COUNTING WRONG ON THE SECOND CODE IT'S EITHER FIRST FLASH (1) SECOND FLASH (8)=18 airbag deactivation inoperative /or shorted to ground OR A 5/4 COMBINATION =54 airbag configuration failure which in your case means the circuit wiring may be wrong please have your body control module codes scanned with a scan tool for the exact code B1342 =12 /////B1890=18 passenger airbag deactivation shorted to battery there should also be a DTC OF 1884 passenger airbag deactivation indicator inoperative =18 also this came from a ford code list wiki that I was able to find but get the actual body control module codes with a scan tool and if you attempt any repairs yourself be very careful and make sure battery voltage is diconnected for at least 5min before any attempts to fix it our wiring circuits try getting another module from a U PULL IT YARD IT WILL BE MUCH CHEAPER AND SWAP IT OUT IF SAME THINGS ARE THERE AFTER THIS THE WIRING IS CRISS CROSSED IF NOT I GUESS YOUR DONE IF NO U PULL IT YARDS ARE IN YOUR STATE WHERE YOU ARE TURN IT INTO A ROAD TRIP 1/2 FOR THE YARD 1/2 FOR YOUR WIFE ADVENTURE BECAUSE THESE MODULES COST A FORTUNE FROM THE DEALER IF YOU CAN GET IT THE CARS OVER 10 YEARS OLD AND MOST DEALERS LIQUIDATE THERE STOCK TO OTHER COMPANIES FORDPARTSGIANT .COM IS ONE OF THEM GOOD LUCK STEPHEN
