I purchased a refurb 959 in november, it arrived around the 15 of december, and being busy I didnt install it until sunday the 3rd of jan. when I turned the talkback nob, the frequency counter went dead, as did the light in the meter. this was a mail order thing I did with a man I met on ebay, and he did not send an invoice, however I do have the paypal receipt. do you think galaxy will honor the warranty?

When my 959 frequency counter went out, I had hit the button that turns it off (might dim lights also). It was just because I was unfamiliar with this radio. Damn near had a heart attack. Hope this helps you !!! Timm ....
That radio has a 2 year warrenty on it.If you do not have a sales reciept,simply call galaxy and give them the serial number,they will use that to determine how much of the warrenty period you have left.Galaxy has super service and they will take care of the problem.
