Serif's website says that the system requirements for WebPlus X4 (apparently X3 is no longer current) are:
Pentium PC with DVD/CD drive and mouse
Microsoft Windows® XP (32 bit), Windows®Vista (32 or 64bit), or Windows® 7 operating system
So the first thing to note is that there is no Macintosh version of the software. That having been said, given that you own a MacBook Pro, you can install Windows on it, and run the software that way.For example, the product at ComboDealDetails.aspx includes a discounted copy of both Windows 7 and Parallels, which will allow you to run Windows 7 right alongside your Mac OS. The solution will cost you $140, but it is a very workable, very nice solution when you are forced to use PC software for a course, etc., but own a Mac.
