I received a replacement ez pass because they predicted mine was too old to last much longer. My daughter just went through a toll with it and it read not valid. Was I supposed to “register” it?

Yes needed to remove old device and add new device to your account notify e z pass for assistance if having problem doing so and should be able to have fine removed and just pay toll
Search for ez pass web site to register it - will need numbers on the package or the ez pass. There is a way to request a refund for the fine that will be sent to you in a while if one was given (perhaps days).since she had the ez pass but it wasn't registered.
