I recently attempted to switch my thermostat. When I found out that the thermostat I purchased was the wrong model, I reinstalled the original, but now my heating system will not turn on. What can I do?
Hi, Apparently you did not get it hooked up exactly as it was when you took it off. What kind of system do you have? Also what are the wires colors that you have at the thermostat?
This may help... if not message me backand we'll work on it.
You have to verify all the wire are placed in the correct locations. They are color coded. Once you verify the wiring turn the thermo off and start agin, it should resume. Please forward the model n umber you purchased and the old model you have. Thanks.

Make sure you did not loose the jumper from Rc to Rh if you need it, that is a common problem.

Did you turn off the power before changing the t-stat?
Maybe you burnt out the transformer....
Would not be the first person to do so...:-)
