I recently changed the oil and Plugs in the said car. Days before i have been experiencing jerks and the car takes time to respond to a press on the accelerator. I used an on-board diagnostic kit and i got an error code that said Cylinder 2 misfire. I called in my mechanic who did the oil and plug change and he open cylinder and it was filled with water. Water was cleaned but it is still jerking. Myself and himself are all confused here why. Can anyone help?
Did he do an engine wash to your car? Because this are signs when the engine goes through a wash. The spark system gets wet and electricity starts arching where it can find metal grounded to the negative (-) battery post. Give it about 3 days to a week to dry, if it still does it, take it back and have it rescanned.
