I recently installed a new radio. hardwired the harness into the OEM harness. Everything started working fine until I increased the sub volume thru the headunit, then the sub cut out for a second then completely lost signal. the amp is still powered. all fuses and connections are good. Whats the problem? Thanks in advance!

increasing the volume might have burnt the speaker coil of the sub. You need to confirm first if the sub is working before you check your other connections.
Gain access to the sub speaker, then use a meter to read if the speaker is working or not. Or use a battery and wire to test the speaker, put a wire on the positive + side of the speaker and the other end on the battery likewise the negative -. If you hear any noise from the speaker, then its means the speaker is working, then you can now cross check your connections.
In summary, test if the speaker is working, so that we can know where to focus our attention.
I tested the subwoofer and it does work, checked the connections in the enclosure and they're good too. also double checked every other connection from battery to radio to amp and sub. all connected properlyI tested the subwoofer and it does work, checked the connections in the enclosure and they're good too. also double checked every other connection from battery to radio to amp and sub. all connected properly
