I recently purchased a Milwaukee fuel jigsaw. I have tried Dewalt, Bosch, and Diablo blades. No mater the brand the Chuck will not fully turn perpendicular to the blade. I even thought that my jig saw was broken so I took it back to Home Depot and got a new one today and still same problem. The manual says to use t shank blades and I’ve tried 3 different blade manufactures and nothing has helped. Also I am fully pushing in the blade all the way in so that’s not the problem. When it’s in it’s seems secure and doesn’t pull out or have any wobble it’s just that the Chuck doesn’t turn all the way like it’s suppose to. Is this normal? And is there anything I can do to fix it
There is a clutch of videos on YouTube testing your jigsaw. I suggest you watch one that shows (briefly) a blade change - if it doesn't work like that I think you should assume your model is faulty and contact the supplier.
