I replaced the brake, brake stator, and snubber ring on a Maytag MAV7650AWW top load washer. Now, when it is running it makes a loud grinding or humming noise. Nothing appears to be leaking. I ran it with the top off and dont notice anything. Any ideas?

Most likely a bad water pump/remove belt and turn pump by hand , you'll be able to tell if its the pump by the way it turns,should turn smoothly in both directions
