Hi, carefully remove the control knobs first. Then behind the knob you should have screws.to remove, Some units the front just un snaps and comes off, but do be careful as you can crack it. The mold is coming from the coil behind it. You will need to give it a good cleaning. They make a coil cleaner, but you can use 409, of a mildew cleaner. Best of luck, Shastalaker7
