Report "I sent my canon 40D for repairs and found out that it was the Tamron 11-18mm lense that was broken. They did not tell me what was wrong with it but said not to use it. When then lense was attached, I was not able to depress the "shoot" button and get the camera to focus. Nothing would happen. After a few weeks, after puttin it on manual to be able to take the picture, the camera then said there was a problem with the contacts or something to that extent. Any suggestions?"
