I set the menu for whole wheat bread, however, recipe states whole wheat bread rapid. I've tried to unplug (before it has done anything) and reset, but it will not let me. It just goes back to the prior settings. What should I do? Thanks

Push the stop button until your machine beeps, then unplug it and plug it back in. push select and push it again and again and you will get more confident as you see it go through the choices such as basic, whole wheat, french etc...... you will get more confident about how to choose. Once you feel you have the right program leave it there and then choose things such as the crust color you want and the LOAF SIZE once you feel you have the right settings say....whole wheat, light crust, 1.5 pound loaf.......then....push start and the fun will begin....
